Role Overview for Regional Business Development Executive:
At AppsForBharat, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tamil speaking operations professional
to look after our operations in Tamil Nadu and onboarding initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for
managing the on-ground operations and maintaining relationships with temples across Tamil Nadu, ensuring
their continued success with our platform. The ideal candidate will have the skills to navigate through any
challenge with ease, smooth operations and continued relationship with the temple partner. Your work will
directly contribute to the expansion of our offerings, helping us bring digital devotion to a wider audience.
What You'll Do:
● On-ground operations: Oversee and manage the on-ground operations to ensure smooth completion of
every event conducted in the temple.
● Market Research: Stay updated on upcoming local festivals, competitor onboardings, and business
changes. Utilise these insights for identifying the right set of next local temples.
● Travel: Travel extensively across Tamil Nadu and South India to engage with temple authorities and
trustees, conducting meetings to forge partnerships.
● Relationship Management: Ensure high levels of satisfaction among temple authorities to foster
long-term partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for temples, addressing any concerns or
issues promptly.
● Onboarding & Strategy: Develop strategies to enhance the onboarding process and improve overall
efficiency.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree
● Fluent in Tamil and English, both the languages.
● 3+ years of experience in operations or sales.
● Excellent operational and communication skills.
● Deep understanding of Tamil Nadu’s religious landscape, temples & devotional practices.
● Knowing another South Indian language along with Tamil is a plus
